Event Report: How did social media influence the General Election?
Following the plethora of predictions about the role of social media during the election campaign, PICTFOR’s first event of the new Parliament examined the extent to which social media actually influenced the result. Representatives from two of the major platforms, Facebook and Twitter, examined the range of social media campaigning styles and detail how the parties utilised the platforms to reach their target audience.
