CEO Forum – How can the UK best ensure productivity which produces benefits across society?

March 26 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Productivity is a key driver of economic growth. With productivity in the UK falling throughout 2017, according to the Office for National Statistics, the 2017 Autumn Budget announced measures meant to increase UK productivity.

Do the measures go far enough to enable an increase in productivity and what more can be done by Government and the tech sector to ensure productivity rises, that benefits are felt by all and diversity is kept in mind?

This event will host the Rt Hon Elizabeth Truss MP, Chief Secretary to the Treasury, as the keynote speaker.

Topics for discussion include:

  • Recent funding announcements for artificial intelligence, skills and technology including the national productivity investment fund and the British Business Bank
  • Strategic planning and use of public finances, unlocking the potential of Government investment and regulation, promoting tech and innovation, promoting women and diversity in the tech sector
  • Ethics and public spending, ensuring the creation of a sustainable digital economy that is ethical and benefits all citizens

This is a corporate level members only event
