Parliament 2.0: How can the internet revolutionise British democracy?
PICTFOR’s President, The Speaker, John Bercow MP, delivered an excellent keynote speech to our industry and parliamentary membership on 21st July 2014.
Last year The Speaker announced a commission on Digital Democracy to investigate the use of modern technology in Parliament. This commission is tasked with nothing more than upgrading Parliament to “version 2.0”.
An informative panel discussion followed the Speaker’s update, chaired by Stephen Mosley MP, with leading members of the political and constitutional reform debate exploring how the Internet can revolutionise British democracy. The full panel can be viewed here.
