On Tuesday 17 May, PICTFOR hosted our second in-person event of the year – our fourth annual diversity and inclusion rally in the House of Commons.


The event brought together a diverse range of voices from parliament and industry to discuss how the UK can best equip people from all backgrounds with the necessary skills for a career in tech.


Much of the discussion focused on the leading role that the UK tech sector must play in championing diversity and inclusion, while reflecting on some of the changes that must be incorporated to  ensure that equal representation is fully realised within the industry.


Our speakers raised a number of important calls to action to ensure that the tech industry continues to welcome diversity and fully represents the entirety of the UK, and this is a conversation PICTFOR will continue to carry on throughout our events.
